  • 1999


    Diethyl Ethoxymethylenemalonate as the first national new product was successfully trial-produced. This breakthrough filled the gap in China, and broke the monopoly of import, and successfully entered the field of API production and the global market.

  • 1994

    The first China Torch Program: the main ring of Vitamin E intermediate was successfully developed, which ended the dependence on importing main raw materials of Vitamin E synthesis. Meanwhile, NHU created revenue with more than one hundred million RMB.

  • 1996

    Isophytol as another intermediate of Vitamin was developed and put into production, which contributed to the achievement of integrated production of Vitamin E from raw materials to the end.

  • 1997

    Technology Center was founded.

  • 1998

    Vitamin A was successfully developed.

  • 1999

    Linalool was developed and put into full production smoothly, stepping into the field of flavor & fragrance.

  • 2000

    Vitamin D3 was completely developed.

  • 2001

    Leaf alcohol was developed successfully.

  • 2002

    Biotin was developed successfully.

  • 2004

    Astaxanthin was developed successfully.
    Technology Center became the first national technology center in Shaoxing.

    A new synthetic route of Vitamin E was independently developed with proprietary intellectual property rights, which brought competitively advantage.

  • 2006

    Co-enzyme Q10 and Citral were developed successfully.

  • 2008

    Technology Center was qualified to set up a national postdoctoral research station.

  • 2011

    The industrialization project called “A new green process to synthesize fat-soluble vitamins and carotenoids” won the second prize of National Technology Invention Awards.

  • 2012

    Fine Chemical Supercritical Reaction Technology Engineering Laboratory was awarded as National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center; ZJU-NHU Joint R&D Center was founded; Vitamin E-Pharmaceutical Grade gained recognition from Eisai Co., Ltd, which is one of the biggest global Vitamin manufacturers; Enzyme catalysis technology as one of new green chemistry technology was successfully developed and put into production.

  • 2013

    PPS as a kind of specialty engineered materials was developed successfully.

  • 2014

    Zhejiang NHU signed cooperation framework agreement with Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science and Technology.

  • 2016

    The first international patent of PPS was authorized in Japan.

  • 2017

    “Key technological innovation and industrialization for the superfine manufacture of important fat-soluble nutrients” won the second prize of National Science and Technology Invention Award.
